Welcome to Butler Primary School. We are an independent local intake school and accept students from Kindergarten to year 6 residing within our boundary. Kindergarten Application for 2019
Applications for Kindergarten in 2019 are now open for children born between 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2015. We encourage you to submit your Kindergarten application as soon as possible. Butler Primary School also offers a Pre Kindy Playgroup for eligible children in the year before they are due to start Kindergarten. For more information on the Pre Kindy Playgroup please click here.
To apply for a place in Kindergarten at Butler Primary School please complete an Application Form available via download or from the School Office and submit by 27 July 2018.
Once applications have closed, notification of a place will be disributed late August/early September. Your will receive an enrolment package detailing the enrolment process and information regarding parent information sessions.
The following documents will need to be sighted when submitting the enrolment form:
- Proof of Residence (e.g. Utility bill, Council rates, Rental agreement)
- Birth Certificate
- Immunisation Records (Medicare statement is preferred)
- Visa documentation and Passport if applicable
- Family Court orders to be made available if applicable
Contributions and Charges Schedule
For your information we invite you to refer to our current Contributions and Charges schedule. Our voluntary contribution is currently set at $40 and greatly assists the school in providing additional resources to aid and improve the quality of programs taught. Contributions that families are able to provide to the school are incredibly valuable and as such we offer flexible payment plans. For more information please contact the office staff.
In addition to voluntary contributions, there is a compulsory charge for Reading Eggs for students in Kindy to year 3. For students in years 4 to 6 there is a compulsory charge for Literacy Pro. There will also be a range of incursions and excursions throughout the year that students may participate in, please refer to the following schedule regarding maximum costs involved:
